Show and Tell Friday

Here are some of my favourite plants: my geraniums! I especially love my scented ones & am always looking for them at markets & nurseries & in people's front yards lol ;)

This one is a lemon-scented geranium. It was only planted last year & has grown heaps.

This one came from a market & was

labelled as a clove-scented geranium.

It does have a weird spicy smell.

This one came from a local nursery & the tag calls it 'Westray'. It has a strange herb-y smell, almost like fresh coriander. I love the pinky-purple coloured flowers :)

This one came from a cutting from my dad's garden. It is a peppermint scented geranium & the leaves are big and velvety-furry.

I love these little pigs and their friends that my friend brought me back from a trip to Thailand. I couldn't get a good closeup but there is also a fish in a basket somewhere in the middle there. They are all made of some kind of thin wood stuff & I love them to bits :) I think they are the definition of whimsical. And wouldn't it be good if they were musical?

Yet again I am a little late ;)  as I just got back from holidays and then somewhere picked up an ear infection (I never get ear infections!) and half fainted all over the place so here I am, if a bit woozy :) Here's the link to the the show & tell friday blog I am following :)

Here is my little elephant that I picked up from a school fete years ago. See the little ceramic flowers on his back? I don't know if he was originally a different colour, or if he was made with that decoupage-type flower pattern covering him. Anyway, I love him. He is just so colourful and cheerful. A happy little elephant, I think :)

Thanks to this blog for making me pull out a special treasure. My grandma recently died & her china cups & saucers were distributed to the granddaughters. My cup doesn't match the saucer & I don't know the story of how my grandma came by it, but it's a very sweet cup & saucer & I love it. (Especially more so because of the pink on the cup!)
